'Knot a bad revenge at all': Woman throws her long hair into stranger's lap during a show, he gets even by tying her hair in knots

This form of revenge was not only petty, but it was also knotty. Sometimes, when you're in a public performance setting like a movie theater or a play, people are unintentionally disruptive and annoying in a way that can ruin the whole experience for others. We know this phenomenon all too well, from the folks who text after they have been told to silence their cell phones to the people who have absolutely no concept of personal space. Like it or not, there are unspoken rules of how to behave in these environments, and people are less and less likely to follow said rules these days.

  • Well, this lady with long hair tosses was sitting in front of this Redditor's husband when she placed all her hair behind her seat and onto the husband's lap. It could have been a total accident that showed a lack of self-awareness but with no malicious intent. However, after OP's husband asked her to move her hair, she caused a whole scene and kept her hair where it was. In short, she was certainly not being kind and was therefore sort of asking for some petty revenge. That's when the husband decided to spend the duration of the play carefully tying her hair into knots.

    The issue was the woman sitting in front of my husband with long hair that went to her thighs. When she sat down she put her hair over the chair and in to my very tall husband's lap. He had zero leg room so anything over the chair was coming in his lap. We thought it was unintentional at first. Nope.

    Definitely not stylish, a thick knot, a mini braid between two knots, a thick knot, a minibraid rolled into a knot, etc... Thick Boy Scout knots basically, over a foot of them. She hadn't noticed. People in rows behind us that had seen her prior outburst saw it and chuckled. My dad saw it and patted my husband on the back. No one literally said a word.     Holiday Signal_3134 3 days ago Once when I was on an 8-hour flight, the woman in front of me flipped her long hair over the back of her seat ... right into my airline meal. I didn't care too much because I had finished eating, but it still me off. So I gently adjusted my food tray so more of her hair was soaking in the chicken in brown sauce. Not my problem. Then again, I was at a very large, loud concert years ago, sitting on temporary stands with folding chairs on them. A guy in front of me kept jumping up to cheer, and every time he did, he drove his chair back so it smashed into my knees. After the second or third time, I tapped him on the shoulder to ask him nicely to stop. He didn't even acknowledge me and just kept doing it. It hurt.

    It Ime off. But I had a pack of Carefree peppermint gum in my pocket because I was a chewing addict at the time. I worked my way through the pack over the course of the concert, making little of chewed gum and dropping them into his thick head of curly hair while I tried unsuccessfully to keep my knees away from the impact zone. When the concert ended, the lights came up. I was able to see the results of my efforts.

    Even I was taken aback. His head looked like a mulberry tree filled with tiny white fruit. It would be quite the scissor job to get it all out. I didn't say a word to my friends and followed them as we headed out with the crowd. Right as we were leaving, I heard the voice of one of the culprit's buddies say, "Wait-turn your head."     Shadow_of_the_moon11. 3 days ago That's so ridiculous though. I used to have really long hair and I would never have put it over the back of the chair. That's not where long hair goes. If you're going to have long hair, that hair still needs to stay in your personal space instead of someone else's. There aren't different rules for hair. 812 Reply Share

    OppositePlan6376 3 days ago A gal sat in front of me in my psychology class and would flip her hair on my desk top, it annoyed me so much that I would arrive early to move her desk up about 4 inches, occasionally she would notice her desk moved and move it back to its original spot.
